On Aug 28, Lady (left) will be at her 30th day into her breeding with Berrin (right). On her 32nd day (Aug 30) , she will have a pregnancy test done. Please check back for details. Windy (left) will be bred with Jack (right) sometime in November. (Her breeding with Berrin was not successful). We still have plans for a final litter with Lil' Red (left), to be bred sometime in November, though we have yet to decide on the male. After this last litter, she will be spayed.

 

 

 

We have only one white litter per year. (Occasionally a white pup may be born to a pairing of two of our traditionally colored Kings.) Our next breeding for a white litter will be sometime around January 2011. There is increasing interest in our white King Shepherds, since we are the only King Shepherd breeder in the world to have these Unique King Shepherd Breeding Dogs of white color. For anyone interested in a white pup from our future Powder/Polar breeding, we are accepting deposits on the 2011 once-per-year litter. Check out one-year-old Bono (now living in Germany) from the first Powder/Polar litter for a good example of what you can expect from these parents. NOTE: Although the white coat is a disqualifying color by the KSD breed standard (as it is for the common white GSD and long coated shepherds), there are no health, hip, or temperament issues with white King Shepherds different from the traditional colored coated KSDs. They are the same as any other King Shepherd, they just have a white coat. (MORE)
