Boris

 

02/06/08: Hello! We had another snow-day from work today! Had over a foot of snow fall. Samiam and Boris made us take them down to the lake to get their pictures taken during the storm - boy do they LOVE snow (and rain, and mud, and,...!!!). The kids are both doing great. When we told them about your invite to get together soon they were tickled and definitely want to see all of you as soon as we can. I also included a few other pictures from the cabin. The one of Boris on the pier gave Paul and me tingles for it reminded us so much of Doc who loved to lay out there whenever he could! So here it was Boris just walked out there on his own to take in the view - awesome . . . ~ Paul and Sue

 

 

 

 

 

02/06/07: Wanted to send this with the last message - oops! [At right] is a picture of Doc [German Shepherd] and me on the pier thathe loved so much! Both Sam and Boris do things that remind us of both of our last pups - we know Doc and Mr. Bill love these two and "show-up" every now-and-then to say “They are keepers!” ~ Sue

 

03/19/08: Boris had his b-day yesterday as you well know! The celebration started early in the morning and then continued after returning from work. He and Samiam had a oh-so-special birthday dinner and walkies and playing down on the beach! Back inside we all went and then,..... celebration ceased! As we were watching a bit of TV heard some "funny" goings-on coming from the kitchen. Sam was lying down in the living room and she also noticed the sound from the kitchen. I looked around and there was no Boris! So as I calmly got up to investigate; here came Boris trotting out from the kitchen proudly carrying a shoe of mine - but my shoe looked different - it looked smaller! Of course it was smaller - he ate part of my shoe!!!! WAAAAA! Did he plan on doing this 1st chew-of-a-shoe on his 1st birthday???!! (Sounds like something out of a Dr. Seuss book). When he saw my face I saw his face say "uh-oh". Yes there was vulgar language and all the extras. Sam got up and walked away but she seemed to be smiling. After the time-out we all calmed down and resumed the birthday celebration - very much watered-down by this point.

 

Funny, aye?! Anyhow all is great and both pups are GREATER! Here's some stats on Boris: shoulder-blade height 27", top of head is around 36", tip of nose to rump 34-35". Weight to come.
