hoss269106/10/08: . . . I wanted to ask you a question. Are you 100% positive, that a Lion didn't come and Mate with Lil' Red when you weren't looking?hoss2696 lol He has a mane like a Lion. I am jealous, I wish my hair would look like his. I am enclosing a photo taken today, and I think it doesn't even do him justice. He is wonderful, and the prettiest dog I have ever owned! He is our baby, but we still baby Ruby too. She is an old lady now, and needs lovein' too!

The one photo is Hoss playing with my daughter " Staci". The dogs food laying there on the carpet, are from him. He didn't like them, and spit them out, when I wasn't looking. He is so silly! ~ Janet

10/09/09: I went down to take some pictures of Hoss (on the right) and Raven and they turned out nice . . . [Raven] is getting very pretty and Hoss is just Hoss the perfect dog. It is record breaking heat down here. It's 95 during the day and Hoss and Raven spend a lot of time in the house. Should cool off soon and they will be running around outside all day. ~ Mike

11/01/09: I am [adding ] a few photos [and memories] of our Ruby. I got Ruby when I found out my brother was dying of Cancer. That was 12 years ago. I told my brother, when I went to visit him in C.A. that I had just gotten, a Shepherd puppy. That alone lifted his spirits. Well, almost 13 years later, we sadly had to put Ruby down. She was suffering with hip problems, and every step she took, was a hard one. I didn't want to come home, one night from work, and have her break a hip or a leg, while letting her out to go use, the bathroom. I decided to put her out of her misery, which was a very hard decision, but I guess an OK, decision??? Guess I will find out one day.

Ruby decided her job in life, was becoming my body guard. She would come running, if I screamed, because I saw a bee, or a spider. She jumped 5 to 6 foot in the air, to catch dragon flies! She was made out of muscle. If I was in the other room, and Mike came in teasing me, If I said "stop," and she heard it, she couldn't come into the room, fast enough to protect me!!

Towards the end, she didn't care anymore, if I yelled "Stop", or she didn't hear me? However, she will always be my bodyguard. May she rest in peace, while playing with my brother, till we meet again. ~ Janet
