This is Red the evening she had her litter, before whelping. I was putting together Christmas baskets and she wanted to stay by my side the whole time. She was very anxious so I knew it was time. I wanted her to be comfortable in her pre-labor, so I triple-folded a blanket for her to lay on in the kitchen by me. She is not only a great mom but a great companion. ~ Amy (12/12/09)
