CDC's Amy Acres Kings Polar

With Polar, we finally purchased our first male King Shepherd, and a rare white one at that! When we picked him up at the airport, he was so small (well, maybe not that small -- 18 pounds at 7 weeks old) and white as a snowflake. At first we thought Polar was going to be very shy and quiet, but this young lad has certainly come out of his shell! At 11 months, he is 27 1/2 inches at the shoulder and 115 pounds with a very blocky-type head and muzzle. With his thick and robust coat, he is one strikingly handsome King Shepherd! When we got Polar, his call name was Polar Bear,
which is very like him. We shortened it to ‘Polar’ but he has other nicknames like ‘Polar Action’ and ‘White Fish’. Being the smart dog he is, he always knows we’re talking to him! Check out the Show Photo Galleries to see Polar at the dog shows he has attended.
